Tejovyādhi (तेजोव्याधि) refers to illnesses of fire.—Cold (śīta), sweet (madhura), bitter (tikta), acrid (karkaśa) plants and foods are a counteragent in illnesses of fire (tejovyādhi) but are not a remedy in other illnesses.
