There he saw the Bodhi tree of the Buddha Piyadassi, and having swept the ground around it, he scattered flowers.
Three kappas ago he was a king named Samphusita (Ap.i.176).
He is probably identical with Vanavaccha Theta. ThagA.i.222f.
