1. The tenth lunar day of the bright or dark fortnight; பத்தாந் திதி. உளம் விரும்புந் தசமிதனி லுஞற்று மானால் [pathan thithi. ulam virumbun thasamithani lugnarru manal] (சேதுபுராணம் துரா. [sethupuranam thura.] 30).
2. A kind of bread, eaten especially in tacami; தசமியில் உண்ணுவ தான ஒரு பணிகாரம். [thasamiyil unnuva thana oru panigaram.] Mahārāṣṭra.
