Strīvajra (स्त्रीवज्र):—One of the variations of the Diamond (vajra, one of the nine gems (navaratna)), according to the Rasaprakāśasudhākara. It also known by the name Nārīvajra (नारीवज्र). Strīvajra is similar to the Puṃvajra, but it is round, slightly flat, rough in appearance and the tip of its angle is blunt. This variation represents the feminine aspect of the Diamond, and should thus be used only by persons of the same gender.
