An epithet first of drōṇācārya, and now of any Priest-Warrior; also, freely, of any one clever as well in secular and common business as in religion, science, and literature (in gṛhasthāī as in bhikṣakī); thus agreeing with śāpānu- grahasamartha, nigrahānugrahasamartha, mutasaddī asūna śipāī &c.
