Source: DDSA: The Molesworth Marathi and English Dictionarysāpasuraḷī (सापसुरळी) [or सापसोळी, sāpasōḷī].—f A creature of the lizard-kind. It has a glistening skin, shorter feet than the pāla (house-lizard), or the saraḍā (hedge-lizard or field-lizard), and serpentlike flexility and briskness. Affirmed to be the same as cōpaya, and to have very venomous saliva.
