Saṃvitcakra (संवित्चक्र) refers to the “primary cycle”, according to Abhinavagupta’s Tantrāloka verse 3.247-249 and 250cd-251ab.—[...] The core of the Krama system on which Abhinavagupta focuses is a cycle of Twelve Kālīs. Essentially, they represent the usual Krama cycle of creation, persistence, and destruction in each of these domains along with Anākhyā that contains them.
