Saṃvarodaya (संवरोदय) (or Saṃvarodayatantra) was probably composed in Nepal after the compilation of the Kālacakra in India.—The death signs introduced in the Ḍākārṇava-tantra are very likely to be extended or developed versions of the discourses of the same topic found in the Saṃvarodayatantra. The teachings of the chakras (cakra) and inner channels (nāḍī) in the Ḍākārṇava are more detailed and appear to be more developed than the teaching of the same topic in the Saṃvarodayatantra.
