A king of Kalinga. He was a Cakka vatti, but when he was riding his elephant through the air, he could not pass over the spot where the bodhi tree was (Mil. p. 256). The reference is evidently to the story in the Kalingabodhi Jataka, but there the kings name is not given. J.iv.232f.
