Rudhirotpāda (रुधिरोत्पाद) refers to “with corrupt mind (duṣṭacitta) causing a realised one’s (Tathāgata) blood to flow” and represents one of the “five (things) having immediate consequence” (pañcānantarya) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 60). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., rudhira-utpāda). The work is attributed to Nagarjuna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
