pañcakalyāṇa (पंचकल्याण) [or णी, ṇī].—a (pañcakalyāṇa S) Having five auspicious marks; viz. the four legs white up to the knees and a blaze on the forehead--a horse. 2 Used ironically of a man all whose limbs are distorted. 3 Used of a hack or rip of a horse which it is necessary to strike with both heels, to thump with both fists, and to urge with the ṭhōkaḷā or cluck of the mouth.
