Mṛdujivha (मृदुजिव्ह) or Mṛdujivhatā refers to “a soft tongue” and represents the fiftieth of the “eighty secondary characteristics” (anuvyañjana) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 83). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., mṛdu-jivha). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
