Lohārgalapura (लोहार्गलपुर) or simply Lohārgala is the name of an ancient village, according to chapter 1.1 [ādīśvara-caritra] of Hemacandra’s 11th century Triṣaṣṭiśalākāpuruṣacaritra: an ancient Sanskrit epic poem narrating the history and legends of sixty-three illustrious persons in Jainism.

Accordingly,

“[...] clothed in white linen, like the moon and moonlight united, they [viz., Vajrajaṅgha and Śrīmatī] had the King’s permission to go to Lohārgalapura. Knowing that Vajrajaṅgha was a suitable person, King Svarṇajaṅgha [i.e., Suvarṇajaṅgha] installed him in power and took initiation”.
