Lasatprabhu (लसत्प्रभु) refers to the “brilliant lord” and is used to describe Śiva, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.3.37 (“The letter of betrothal is dispatched”).—Accordingly, as Himavat prepared the wedding of Menā and Śiva: “[...] The mountain Kailāsa favouring every one because of brilliant lord (lasatprabhu) Śiva came there delighted. All other mountains from several continents, O brahmin, assembled together in the abode of Himavat. O sage, all these mountains, invited by Himavat came there to attend the marriage of Śiva and Śivā. [...]”.
