Source: Google Books: ManthanabhairavatantramLalāṭaja (ललाटज) refers to “that which is born from the forehead”, according to the Ṭīkā (commentary) on the Manthānabhairavatantra, a vast sprawling work that belongs to a corpus of Tantric texts concerned with the worship of the goddess Kubjikā.—Accordingly, “[...] Thus, the future, the present and the past are said to be born from the right (eye), the forehead (lalāṭaja) and the left (eye), respectively. Once these lineages (ovalli) have been learnt with effort, that is, (fully) understood and (one is) certain (of their nature), then one should perform the consecration. [...]”..
