Khaṇḍaparśu (खण्डपर्शु).—m.

(-rśuḥ) 1. A name of Parasurama. 2. A name of Siva. 3. Rahu, the personified ascending node. 4. A spreader of unguents, fragrant powders, &c. 5. A drug, commonly Chandamalaki. 6. An elephant with a broken tusk. E. khaṇḍa a part, and parśu an axe; whose axe or arms cut every thing to pieces.
