1. Scissors, shears; கத்தரிக்கோல். மயி ரரிதற்கொரு கத் தரிகை தருகென [katharikkol. mayi raritharkoru kath tharigai tharugena] (பெருங்கதை வத்தவ. [perungathai vathava.] 14, 7).
2. (Nāṭya.) Gesture with one hand in which the forefinger and the middle finger are held together and pointed upward, while the thumb and the ring finger remain bent, the little finger being kept stretched; இணையா வினைக்கைவகை. [inaiya vinaikkaivagai.] (சிலப்பதிகாரம் அரும்பதவுரை [silappathigaram arumbathavurai] 3, 18, உரை. [urai.])
