Katampamukuḷaniyāyam (கதம்பமுகுளநியாயம்) [katampa-mukuḷa-niyāyam] noun < kadamba +. The illustration of the kadamba buds shooting upon all sides simultaneously, which is used in the Vaiśeṣika and Nyāya systems to explain how different series of sounds from the same sounding body are transmitted simultaneously to the ears of hearers at equidistant points on all sides, usually contrasted with vīcītaraṅka-nyāya, the illustration of larger and smaller waves in the same context; மழைபெய்தபோது கதம்பமொட் டுக்கள் ஒரேகாலத்திற் பூப்பதுபோலக் காரியங்கள் ஒருங்குதோன்றுவதைக் காட்டும் நெறி.
