Source: Sutta: The Pali Text Society's Pali-English DictionaryKaṇṇasakkhali refers to: & °ikā the orifice or auditory passage of the ear DhA. I, 148; DhsA. 334, in which latter passage °ikaṃ paharati means to impinge on the ear (said of the wind); °ikaṃ bhindati (=bhindanto viya paharati) to break the ear (with unpleasant words) DhA. II, 178 (T. saṅkhaliṃ, v. l. sakkhaliṃ).
Note: kaṇṇasakkhali is a Pali compound consisting of the words kaṇṇa and sakkhali.
