Ninety four kappas ago he was a king named Gopaka (?), and seeing the Buddha Siddhattha, accompanied by his monks, walking in the city, the king, from his balcony, scattered kanavera flowers over them. Eighty seven kappas ago he became king four times (Ap.i.182). He is probably identical with Bandhura Thera. ThagA.i.208.
