An island to the east of Ceylon. A part of the expeditionary force sent by Parakkamabahu I. to Ramanna landed on this island, captured some of the inhabitants and brought them to Ceylon, where they were presented to the king (Cv.lxxvi.57). Kakadipa may have been the name of one of the Andaman Islands.
