Source: What is India: Inscriptions of the ŚilāhārasJoupaiya is mentioned in the “Ṭhāṇā plates of Mummuṇirāja”. Accordingly, “And this has been written by me, the Treasury Officer (and) the Minister, the illustrious Joupaiya, the nephew of the Treasury Officer, the great poet, the illustrious Nāgalaiya”.
Joupaiya (fl. 1053 A.D.) is also mentioned in the “Dive Agar plate of Mummuṇirāja”. Accordingly, “The illustrious King Mummuṇideva lays down the settlement for the learned Brāhmaṇas endowed with wisdom, who are prominent among the sixteen representatives (mahattarakas) residing at Āgara-dīpaka, in the presence of principal royal officers such as... the Treasury Officer, the illustrious Minister Joupaiya...”.
