Jāgarodaya (जागरोदय) refers to the “onset of waking”, according to Bodhasāra, in the section on Layayoga (p. 118, v. 3).—Accordingly, “At the beginning of sleep and the end of waking, and at the end of sleep and the onset of waking (jāgarodaya), absorption of mind occurs. In that [state], one should contemplate the self”.
