Source: academia.edu: A Study and Translation of the GaganagañjaparipṛcchāHetudṛṣṭi (हेतुदृष्टि) refers to “rationalistic heresy”, according to the Gaganagañjaparipṛcchā: the eighth chapter of the Mahāsaṃnipāta (a collection of Mahāyāna Buddhist Sūtras).—Accordingly, as Bodhisattva Gaganagañja explains to Bodhisattva Ratnaśrī what kind of concentration should be purified: “[...] (7) [when the Bodhisattvas attain] the concentration called ‘Suppression’, all vices will be conquered; (8) [when the Bodhisattvas attain] the concentration called ‘Turning,’ the way of right side will be fulfilled. (9) [when the Bodhisattvas attain] the concentration called ‘Returning,’ they will turn back from rationalistic heresy (hetudṛṣṭi); [...]”.
