Source: OSU Press: Cakrasamvara SamadhiGandhanāśana (गन्धनाशन) refers to the “loss of smell”, according to the Cakrasaṃvara Samādhi [i.e., Cakrasamvara Meditation] ritual often performed in combination with the Cakrasaṃvara Samādhi, which refers to the primary pūjā and sādhanā practice of Newah Mahāyāna-Vajrayāna Buddhists in Nepal.—Accordingly, “The letter Ha takes (one’s) color, the letter Ho causes the loss of smell (gandhanāśana), The letter Hrīṃ will also kill (one’s) strength, observe the drinking of liquor”.
