Source: OpenEdition books: Vividhatīrthakalpaḥ (History)Dharmeksā (धर्मेक्सा) (today Dhamek) is the name of a stūpa, associated with Vārāṇasī, as is mentioned in the Vividhatīrthakalpa by Jinaprabhasūri (13th century A.D.): an ancient text devoted to various Jaina holy places (tīrthas).—Dhamek is located about six km north of Vārāṇasī.
