Source: academia.edu: A Study and Translation of the GaganagañjaparipṛcchāCittapraveśa (चित्तप्रवेश) refers to “entering into the thoughts (of all living beings)”, according to the Gaganagañjaparipṛcchā: the eighth chapter of the Mahāsaṃnipāta (a collection of Mahāyāna Buddhist Sūtras).—Accordingly: as Kutūhalajāta said to Venerable Śāriputra: “In the same way, venerable Śāriputra, I have wished and struggled for all dharmas here and there, but I still wonder about when I can fulfill all the qualities of the Buddha. That is why I am called Kutūhalajāta. I wonder about all practices of the Bodhisattva and the knowledge of entering into the thoughts [i.e., cittapraveśa] and deeds of all living beings. That is why I am called Kutūhalajāta. What I wonder about is without any knowledge or any entrance. That is way I called Kutūhalajāta. That on which I wonder about is without weak point concerning any vice or any work of māra. That is why I am called Kutūhalajāta”.
Mahayana (महायान, mahāyāna) is a major branch of Buddhism focusing on the path of a Bodhisattva (spiritual aspirants/ enlightened beings). Extant literature is vast and primarely composed in the Sanskrit language. There are many sūtras of which some of the earliest are the various Prajñāpāramitā sūtras.
