Cakrāṅkitapāṇipādatala (चक्राङ्कितपाणिपादतल) or Cakrāṅkitapāṇipādatalatā refers to “wheels on his palms and soles” and represents the first of the “thirty-two marks of a great man” (lakṣaṇa) as defined in the Dharma-saṃgraha (section 83). The Dharma-samgraha (Dharmasangraha) is an extensive glossary of Buddhist technical terms in Sanskrit (e.g., cakrāṅkita-pāṇipāda-tala). The work is attributed to Nagarguna who lived around the 2nd century A.D.
