Source: Jainworld: Jain History (h)Bodhan is situated in Nizamabad District. The original Jina temple of this place was afterwards destroyed by the Muslims, and converted into a mosque. A teacher called Municandra Siddhāntadeva, has been mentioned in a damaged Jaina epigraph of the time of the Western Chālukya Emperor Vikramāditya VI. This epigraph also mentions a Jina temple of this place. Its ancient name was Podanapura
