Source: Shodhganga: a concise history of Sanskrit Chanda literatureBhāvaprakāśinī (भावप्रकाशिनी) is the name of various commentaries on the Vṛttaratnākara of Kedārabhaṭṭa (C. 950-1050 C.E.), who was a celebrated author in Sanskrit prosody The various authors that produced a work named Bhāvaprakāśinī are as follows: 1) (Nakṣatrātmaja) Mañjarī Bhaṭṭa, 2) Manoharāśraman, 3) Mahāśraman, 4) Medhirāma. The Vṛttaratnākara is considered as most popular work in Sanskrit prosody, because of its rich and number of commentaries.
