Bhāvanikṣepa (भावनिक्षेप, “mode presentation”) refers to one of the four nikṣepa (gateways of investigations by installing/ presenting / positionig).—What is meant by mode / actuality presentation (bhāva-nikṣepa)? To represent an object as it is in the present state is called mode-representation.
