Source: Brill: Śaivism and the Tantric Traditions (hinduism)Bhaktisūtra (भक्तिसूत्र) (or simply Bhaktimīmāṃsāsūtra) is the name of a text also known as the Śāṇḍilyasūtra.—This text has a commentary known as the Abhinavabhāṣya authored by Bhavadeva (possibly identified with Bhavadevamiśra who also wrote the Yuktabhavadeva, a 17th-century text dealing with Yoga).—In its entry on the commentary called the Abhinavabhāṣya on the Śāṇḍilyasūtra or Bhaktimīmāṃsāsūtra (also called the Śatasūtī or Bhaktisūtra), the NCC (vol. 15, 152) reports that this work is found in the manuscript libraries of the Oriental Institute in Baroda, the Prajñā Pāṭhaśālā Maṇḍala at Wai and the Sampūrṇānanda library in Varanasi.
