Source: archive.org: Shiva Purana - English TranslationBhaktānandapradāyin (भक्तानन्दप्रदायिन्) refers to “one who bestows bliss upon the devotees” and is used to describe Śiva, according to the Śivapurāṇa 2.5.11 (“The Gods’ prayer”).—Accordingly, as the Gods eulogized Śiva: “[...] Obeisance to the omniscient, to one who is the refuge of all. Obeisance to you born in a trice. Obeisance to Vāmadeva, Rudra, the Puruṣa, accessible to the good. Obeisance to Aghora, to one easily served. Obeisance to you, subservient to the devotees. Obeisance to īśāna, the most excellent, the bestower of bliss to his devotees (bhaktānandapradāyin). [...]”.
