Source: Shodhganga: Elements of Art and Architecture in the Trtiyakhanda of the Visnudharmottarapurana (shilpa)Beautiful Women are associated with Nāsatya (i.e., the twin god Aśvins), whose iconography is described in the Viṣṇudharmottarapurāṇa, an ancient Sanskrit text which (being encyclopedic in nature) deals with a variety of cultural topics such as arts, architecture, music, grammar and astronomy.—According to the Skandapurāṇa Nāsatyas or the twin god Aśvins are the excellent physicians. In the Ṛgveda, the chariot of the Aśvins are said to be associated with a bull and a crocodile. According to the Viṣṇudharmottarapurāṇa two beautiful women should be placed in both sides of the Nāsatyas. Thus it is clear that the Viṣṇudharmottarapurāṇa offers a great field of knowledge regarding the nuances of Indian art of Image making [e.g., beautiful women] during 10th–11th century A.D.
Shilpashastra (शिल्पशास्त्र, śilpaśāstra) represents the ancient Indian science (shastra) of creative arts (shilpa) such as sculpture, iconography and painting. Closely related to Vastushastra (architecture), they often share the same literature.

Uttaragīta 41cd-42, Maṇḍalabrāhmaṇopaniṣat 2.5.4-5, Gheraṇḍasaṃhitā 5.82-83ab).—Accordingly, “Because the [nasopharyngeal] cavity above the uvula has been sealed by Khecarī Mudrā, the [Yogin’s] semen is not emitted [even when he] has been embraced by a beautiful woman (kāminī-āliṅgita). So long as his semen remains in his body, then why [would there be] fear of death?”.
