This is the Sanskrit Mahavastu: a lengthy work on Buddhist teachings and narratives belonging to the school of early Buddhism (Mahasanghika). This edition only includes those metrical verses occuring in the various stories and Jatakas, as well as the corresponding English translation by J. J. Jones.

Verse 26.32

सो तं कर्म करित्वान कल्याणं बुद्धवर्णितं ।
ब्राह्मणो अकरि कालं जातानाम् एव धर्मता ॥ ३२ ॥

so taṃ karma karitvāna kalyāṇaṃ buddhavarṇitaṃ |
brāhmaṇo akari kālaṃ jātānām eva dharmatā || 32 ||

“Having performed this lovely deed in praise of the Buddha, the brahman died, as is the lot of those that are born. (32)
